Wakatu Lodge is perfect for a student living away from home for the first time or for a student from outside the region or overseas. Wakatu Lodge is located just a short walk from Nelson Hospital and a 15 minute walk to Nelson City Centre.

We are on also on a public transport route but do offer off-street parking for your convenience.  To maintain a quality environment, all potential residents must apply and are subject to suitabilty and availability. Wakatu Lodge has been recently renovated with all bedrooms having lockable doors. We offer a relaxed, quiet, study-friendly environment and are a smoke-free building. The location of Wakatu Lodge would suit fixed term visiting professionals, nurses as well as nursing students. Inspections welcomed at any time. International students are welcome. We are conveniently located near hairdressers as well as take-aways and food shops across the road.
